Here's the deal.
  To take a room that was first built in 1928 an make it cool enough for a young teenage girl 71 years later.

Cut sponges glued to plywood and paint.

The sponges are cut to the shapes of a moon, a star and a sun that was made from 9 sponge pieces. Photo of tools used
